Harshaw's Small Engine Repair has been family-run through three generations. Currently run by Bill Harshaw's grandson, Kurtis Harshaw, the entire family remains active with the business. Now retired from the military, you'll find Kurtis around the shop with his trademark smile and helpful hand with the books and shop operations. You will also find the family actively helping in the service bay and the parts counter.

Grandpa Bill started as the groundskeeper of a golf course in Great Falls, Montana, where he was able to hone his skills as a technician. Grandpa Bill began to offer standard maintenance such as oil changes, tune-ups, and essential repair services out of his garage. Over time, Harshaw's Small Engine Repair transitioned to a full-service small engine repair shop. In the mid-70s, a new shop was added to accommodate the growing business. Bill was certified in many areas, and we are still growing fast!

The family is actively learning the trade to continue growth of the business. The kids are learning not only small engines but agricultural equipment as well as automotive.

We have a proud history of excellent work and customers service. We have remained loyal in serving our community and, in return, have been recognized through the years by our township, state, and local business organizations. Through our success, we have also been able to give back to our community through donating and volunteering with many local charities.
